The BRV1 House Plans Go On Sale!

The BRV1, A.K.A. ‘The Bedroom House’, is available for purchase from today! (In case you were wondering it stands for Bedroom Version 1 – we’re going to release two versions of this home.)

For those of you who aren’t up-to-date with our blog, this home is our second design which is aimed at increasing accessibility – the vast majority of tiny houses require ladders to reach a sleeping area, in this home the sleeping area is located on the 1st floor, negating the need for ladders (other than to access the loft storage space).

Aside from the downstairs bedroom, this home also has a living area with a set of outward-swinging French doors, modest kitchen area, and a bathroom (which is 2’6″ in width, making it one of our larger bathrooms). The home contains 10 windows, two of which are skylights, flooding the interior with natural light. The BRV1 will sit happily on a 2′ high utility trailer with an overall height of approximately 13′-1″, 5 inches under the typical maximum height for a road trailer.
