  1. I love you designs. However I am a single mom
looking for a second loft. My favorite is the McG.
Can you add a Second sleeping loft and add a 3 or 4
more feet to that model? And how much more would
the plans be? I haven’t found any plans for sale with two
Sleeping lofts. The loft is what hooked my son. So you
Can see I need two lofts. Do you have any suggestions?
    Thank you

    1. Hey Agie!

It is possible to add a second sleeping loft to the McG, and I currently have a design which sounds quite similar to what you’re asking for. I carried out a customized McG Loft plan for a client in the past. The custom McG is 24′ in length, and has a larger living area, kitchen and bathroom. I think you could easily extend the storage area at the front of the house to create a second sleeping loft.

You can check out some images of this custom McG plan in our gallery section: https://humble-homes.com/tiny-houses-by-humble-homes/

The plans for this home will cost $249 and whilst they aren’t currently available from the website, you can contact me directly to purchase them.

      Hope this helps!

      1. The McG V2 is quite lovely.
However I truly love the original.
Simply a few more feet and a a second loft. Is this something I could do myself with no alterations to the plans?

        1. Angie – it is a fairly straight forward alteration, and I think you’d be capable of pulling it off yourself without needing customized plans. But if you do decide to purchase the plans, send me an email and I’ll try and help you out with the alteration, and provide you with some extra info! :)

          1. I want to buy those plans, but I’m on a limited income. So I wanted to be sure of the cost, the design ect…. So I only need to buy the original plans and just add a few feet. So I guess I go to your humble home site and perches them. Thank you so much for your time and advice. Have a great day.

          2. Hey Agie, why not send me an email with your details to info@humble-homes.com and I’ll see what I can do to get a set of printed plans to you! I can be contacted at any time with any questions or to provide guidance on the alteration.

          3. I’m sorry to be a nuisance, but I read over the agreement. While the agreement is agreeable, it states you only have electronic plans. As my only peace of electronics is an iPhone, I was hoping you could send me a printed copy of the plans. I would pay extra if that’s what I needed to do. Thank you again for all of your time.
