The $1 Million 10 Foot Wide House

When the price tag of a home is influenced mainly by location, it’s no surprise to find an ordinary home costing a substantial amount. Such is the case with this home, although it’s not all that ordinary – this home is only 10 foot wide, and would have originally put you back a cool $1 million.

This contemporary home is located in the neighbourhood of Cole Valley, San Francisco. It’s two stories high and has just over a thousand square feet in size – not a small house by any means, but they have had to carefully plan the design of the interior due to it’s width.

  1. I like this house very much but am apaulled (sp?)at the price. Also am disappointed that this one like all other small and very small houses don’t have any room for things like a piano, floor model, or cat litter boxes, some don’t even have a clothes washer and dryer. I suppose that since I have these needs I am in a tiny, no pun intended, minority that would like a tiny house but have these needs also.

But I must admit tiny houses are much more attractive than almost all bigger house that I see.

  2. This is Melbourne Australia prices a miners cottage not much wider than that can go for over a million. The realestate salesman grins from ear to ear here. Sydney and the Gold coast are the same. Affordability is very low here in comparison to job rates.
