Shawn’s Customized McG Loft

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been developing a customized set of plans for a customer, Shawn. Shawn liked the original McG Loft plans, but as the home was going to be used as a full time residence it needed some tweaking – namely some additional living room and bathroom space, and the inclusion of a combo washer/dryer, a larger refrigerator, and an oven. All in all, an extra 4 feet was added to the design to help realise their requirements; the biggest tiny house design I’ve completed to date!

Shawn has already started building his tiny home and has kindly shared some images of his progress to date. You can see pictures floor framing below. I’ve also included some floor plan pictures to give you a better idea of this tiny home’s layout.

I’m looking forward to following their progress, and will keep you posted on any updates!
