A Contemporary Airstream Restoration

This 1954 Airstream Flying Cloud trailer was meticulously restored by Timeless Travel Trailers. The Airstream trailer was transported to the company’s facility in Denver, Colorado, where it underwent a complete artisan rebuild. The attention to detail and complete re-design in this customization has resulted in a trailer that is in better-than-new condition.

The interior of the trailer features natural hickory wood, aged oak flooring, copper sheeting and authentic leather – a rather lush interior finish. The restoration wasn’t just limited to the aesthetic – it also has a new axle, brakes, suspension, wheels, tires and coupler. The Airstream now meets or exceeds the current industry standards and is ready to be taken on the road again.

And just in-case you were wondering about the cost; the trailer was auctioned with a minimum bid of $1,000, and reached a final high bid of $157,000. Yikes!
