The GO Pop Up Camper Is Perfect For Your ‘Into The Wild’ Excursions
Planning a camping trip this summer, and in need of a new camper? Then look no further than the GO Pop Up camper from Sylvan Sport. The camper is equipped with a variety of gadgets including a solar power kit that allows you to enjoy the your home comforts while going ‘into the wild’ (or to the local holiday park).
The Go POP Up camper is the first of three different models to be released. Each will be equipped with their own solar power station, which is capable of running fans, small appliances and other electronics.
When on the road, the camper is folded down to reduce drag and improve fuel economy. Sylvan Sport states that it’s small and light enough to be towed by a vehicle of any size (good news for anyone that owns a Peel P50).
The GO Pop Up camper’s roof structure doubles as a bike or kayak rack, and it’s clever design allows it to comfortably sleep up to four people. The sleeping platforms can also double as a seating booth during the day. Dining is catered for with it’s small pop-up kitchen and table, and an extendible awning can provide a degree of shelter while sitting outside.
If you’re from Europe and you’re looking to get your hands on a similar type of camper, then have a look at the Awning by Eduard Bohtlingk. It’s a fantastic, award winning camper that triples it’s footprint.
The camper also comes with a Goal Zero Yeti 400 generator that will apparently allow you to simultaneously power a mini fridge and other appliances. The Nomad 13 solar power kit can be mounted on the campers roof, or on any other flat surface. The solar kit provides power for 13 interior LED lights to illuminate the camper at night. At $8,495 it’s not cheap, but it is pretty cool.
