Tiny Apartment Features Views of the Italian Riviera

Tiny Apartment on the Italian Riviera by Gosplan Architects

This tiny apartment is just 377 square feet and is located in Camogli, a small fishing village on the Italian Riviera. It features a minimalist interior, with picturesque views of the Riviera.

The apartment was designed by Gosplan Architects, who undertook the refurbishment of the old holiday flat and transformed it into a modern, comfortable summer house. They managed to incorporate space for two bedrooms, a studio, a living room, a kitchen with a small dining area, and a bathroom.

To successfully integrate each of the living spaces, Gosplan had to develop a custom interior that was tailored to the needs of the client. The rooms are divided up by storage walls, or as the architects put it “each room is a piece of furniture: after you have used it, you can close it.”

The interior is split into three main areas; the living room, kitchen and dining area, the bedrooms and the bathroom. The bedrooms are contained within a custom-built timber module and are surrounded by storage compartments that lie flash with the wall. The single bed is hidden under a fold-up panel when not in use.

With its incredible views and smart, functional interior, this micro-apartment could easily serve as a year-round home instead of just a summer house.
