Unlike most tiny houses the BRV1 has a downstairs bedroom! Plans all pertinent information required to build the house including:

The BRV1 is our second design which is aimed at making tiny houses more accessible. Unlike most tiny houses, the BRV1 contains a downstairs bedroom, negating the need for ladders to reach a sleeping loft (other than to access the lofted storage areas). On top of that, we’ve also managed to kit it out with a relatively spacious and functional living/dining area, and kitchen. The bathroom is 2′-8″ wide – quite large for a home of this size.
This home features 10 windows (two of which are skylights), ensuring your home will be filled with light. The main living area and kitchen contain vaulted ceilings creating a very spacious atmosphere. Upon entering the home, you’ll be greeted by the living/dining area which has a cathedral ceiling. One of the main features that sets this home apart from others is the set of outward-swing French doors in the living area.
The home is open plan and the living area flows directly into the kitchen, which contains a large Belfast sink, under-counter refrigerator, and a 2-burner induction cooktop. The bathroom can be accessed through the bi-fold doors at the end of the kitchen, and it contains a 2′-8″ square shower and your choice of toilet (be it standard, RV, or compost!).
